Core money return?shortblock.

So would like to hear from you folks that have done the short block route and got there core back.How was the experience,long wait for reimbursement or such.

When I worked at a skidoo dealer, I noticed it would take as much as 6 months or more for the core money to come back.

Yes, the wait is long. Dealer should be very clear about this, the guys I deal with always tell me to plan on 2-4months.

Guess my dealer is good to me, as they have never charged me for the core.

2-4 months is definately the norm. Sometimes longer. If you have a dealer willing to extend his neck a little, they will take care of the core for you.

I did a crank from DOO, it took 3 months to get the core money back.

Bought the shortblock for 2600 CAD, installed it, took the old one back in the same box, got 700 back right then n there. Quick n easy.
