hey guys. check out these roses i made for my girlfriend a couple weeks ago for our 3yr aniv. i started working for a blacksmith/ welder a couple months ago and so far i have learned a TON of new things from my boss including how to make roses out of copper. next one will be made out of steel. right now i am working on a skinning knife i pounded out of a 1in dia ball bearing (ill post pics when i get it finished). here are my first 3 roses i made.

i thought about it but they take so much time and copper is SO expensive. my boss charges $150 a piece for them but they are very time consuming. i showed them to a couple friends and now i have to make about a half dozen before xmas lol

you suck and I am closing snowest before my wife sees them!

looks good, very nice gift

beautiful work...pretty neat when you learn how to make metal move huh?...I do alot of custom fab stuff and its always fun watching how you can manipulate metal....I got lucky years ago..an old old metal master showed me how to take a sheetmetal truck fender that looked like a peice of wadded up paper and make it look brand new..I was amazed at how easy he made it look...

Very beautiful!! :face-icon-small-coo Excellent work, and what a great idea. Roses that never wilt. :) I'm sure she had to be extremely happy with you!!
