SUMMIT COUNTY - A Texas man died on Friday after being injured in a fall at Copper Mountain earlier this month.
A witness told authorities 51-year-old Donald Hinckley of Austin, Texas, was headed down the Far East Run at 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 14 when he collapsed and hit his head on a snow-covered stump. Joanne Richardson, the Summit County coroner, says Hinckley was wearing a helmet and was not going fast when he fell.
