Time for another BBQ up Copper Creek on Aug 7. Let's hike up to the bowls and do some cleanup and then BBQ at the bottom and have a campout Saturday night. And for those feeling up to it on Sunday we will do more clean up.

Do not feel obligated to camp, if you just want to come do clean up on Saturday that is great. We are also considering a crossing for the springtime creek at the bottom and doing some minor trail maintenance. Or you could come for the BBQ at 6:30 too.

We will bring the beans as usual and a BBQ.

Let's see what is under all the lovely white that we love so much and get rid of some of the pieces left behind.

What bridge? The sticks that we were thinking about tossing over the dry creek rutt. Kenny, I currently know the regs and know better than to ask the forest service about doing anything.

BTW, still snow on Weatherwax last weekend and 5 to 7 feet deep in some places up there. Taking A trail on the east side out to Sheep Creek in the pickup is really really long and tough. I so needed my jeep, but it won't pull the travel trailer. Awesome weekend up there though, stayed just above Moose Creek Campground.

pam i wouldnt even post anything about the bridge on here. the forest circus is on here...i know that for a fact lol

Well we went up last weekend. Gained a few cans, pop bottles, belt pieces, track pieces, and a Rev windshield (wonder who's that was, ragin???)

Thought I would post a few pics. It gives you a new sense of the bowls and the fact that there is a LOT of snow up there when we ride.

On the pic of the main bowl, just to get a perspective, snow pile at the bottom, just above the boulder, the black protruding up would be Shaun. This is something to be seen.

For the BBQ, we have burgers and buns, chips and salsa, BBQ beans. I don't have numbers. We are going and we are going to clean up as much as we can. Hope you can make it tomorrow too. Cleanup at 9:00, BBQ 6:30.

Looks awesome.

Last time I was up there was end of April with turbotater.
That big boulder at the bottom was poking through and we had to go around it. LOL

Middle of May that boulder was covered again, but by the end of the day was starting to show through.

It has been a strange year.
