if any one cares there is no snow up cooper/ French cabin/Salmon la sac area...... I knew there wasn't gonna be much.... but wasn't expecting 3 INCHES at 4,500-5,000 feet..... pretty depressing

I just heard that the forest service will be giving tickets to any snowmobile ride on forest service roads open to wheeled traffic. All the snowmobile trails in Washington are still opened to wheeled traffic until there is enough snow to close them.

Is folks want to wear down their skis and overheat, why does the FS care? The off-road vehicles do far more damage.
