Cooling Tank - Need Macgyver

My cooling tank internal lip that the rad cap seals on has half of it missing so its not staying on.

Anyone have any Macgyver ideas on how to get it to stay on?

I really want to ride this weekend but no where in prince george, bc has one.

If you have one please let me know, must be located in AB, SK or BC so that i can get the part in right away.

ok so the one i have now is that the updated one or the old mode?
They switched at some point, dont' know what the difference is though.
