Cooling system leak test?

Toward the end of this last season I think that my sled was starting to lose coolant. Either that or it was boiling over and I never noticed it. Either way, I was wondering how to check my system for a possible leak. How have you guys done it? Should I just start it in the summer heat and watch for something to happen or could I do a pressure test some how? Has anybody done this?

If you go to your local hardware store they should carry a tool that is used to check for leaks in gas pipes. 0-15 PSI gauge usually with threaded ends that you can put some barbed fittings on to match your hose size, and it has a schrader valve (valve stem on a tire) hook it into the system and you can pump it up with a standard air pump and check for leaks.

I have one setup for when I build and pressure check U Coolers, works perfect!!!

Your local mechanic should have a pressure tester for testing rads that you can hook to the rad cap on your overflow bottle. If your cap is smaller they typically have an adapter for the smaller caps.
