Cooling Differences?

I used to own a 2012 SBA 144" and now im on a 2014 RMK assault 155". On the SBA I had no problem keep the coolant temp. at around 125 and now on the RMK Assault I have a hard time trying to keep it around the 130 and it spikes to 145 very easily. Is there a difference in the cooling systems between the two?
Also, What temp should I be trying to keep my RMK Assault at? and at what temp should I be shutting it down and letting it cool off?

I have a 12 pro, with the scratchers down on an icy trail it runs at 140°.

The 144 had a bulk head cooler, the 155 does not.

Need to run scratchers quite a bit with the 155. I have no trouble keeping my pro 163 between 125 and 130 with scratchers.
