Coolant Tank Removal...Any Tips?

Installed the SLP rad delete last Sunday and when I went to remove the small coolant hose to get it out of the way I broke the nipple off the tank...damn! I got a new tank from Polaris (not bad at about $20) today. Looks like the two large hoses left on the tank after rad delete are way down at the bottom and a pain to get to. Should I take the console off or??? Tips please.

Unscrew the bottle from the tank and pull up on it a bit, there's flex in the hoses.

Also, take the SLP coupling out of there and install a 3/4" barbed coupling which you can get at Lowe's or Home Depot. The SLP coupling has a built in restrictor in it that bring it down to almost 3/8", it will impeded coolant flow.

Any other tips? I'm going to start this tonight when I get home in hopes of riding this weekend.
