coolant level not returning?

Hi this may be a dumb question but after going for a short ride maybe ten minutes my coolant level went from being just bollow the cold full line to maxed out and did not return once it cooled down. If this normal or could it be caused by a leak somewhere? Sled is a 2014 switchback assault 800.

It kinda sounds like there is air in the system somehow and has displaced the coolant into the coolant bottle?

I'm sure one of the experts will join in and correct me.

Maybe get the nose higher than the tunnel coolers and bleed the system???

Do you know why this could happen? As soon as i opened the bleed screw the level whent back down. Ive since started it and warmed it up and again the reservoir filled up and stayed fukk. Thanks for your reply.

Did you recently do any work to the sled? Anything that could have caused a problem, like install a head, do a rebuild, etc...

No, havnt done anything, i had a small bend in my tunnel i straightened it out and every looks good, doesnt leak coolant, is it possible air would get in there?
