Coolant hose rub

Before I run off to the dealer (Carl's Cycle), wanted to check in to see if this a "known" issue or not. I've found posts for the switchbacks and Rush models, but not the PRO RMK's. (Not sure it matters??)

5.5 hours on my new 2016 163", gave it a good once over and I found a coolant hose on the recoil side of the motor rubbing on the motor. I'd say its 50% through.

This a known issue or a quirk on my sled?

Known and posted in another thread. I bought another collar like the one where the aluminum pipe goes into the rubber pipe and zip tied it where the bolt can rub. It works. Only some of the Axys sleds rub there.

helps

we noticed if you loosen the clamp on the bottle and rotate the hose up so its above the recoil that fixes most issues

this is either the 5th or 6th post on this now, so yeah, its pretty common. If its worn 1/2 way through I would replace that hose. just send a few pics to your dealer and have them send the hose to you if you dont want to take it in. Eric

This should be a warranty fix but it was easier for me to buy another rubber collar for a couple of bucks than it was for me to haul my sled to the dealer and back. I will also try the fix above (rotating the coolant overflow bottle).
