Coolant Bottle resivour nipple

Well i managed to snap off the coolant bottle nipple,, 2005 fusion 900.

Is there any trick,, like npt threaded barb connection to screw in w/ epoxy ???

Or just get new bottle?

Same here a while back. Doesn't take much to snap those off. Great deals on them can be found @ ebay.

I did the epoxy/npt nipple because I bought the wrong new one. A year later, all is well.

I broke mine middle of last season removing the radiater. I did the epoxy repair but didn't have the guts to use it. I just bought a new one at full retail and it was pretty cheap...I think about $20 if I recall. It's kinda a pain to put in though.

Did they change the design from 05 to 06 or was that just the oil bottle that they changed?

They changed the chaincase and Jackshaft in 06 and the Oil bottle. 06 bottle will not work on an 05.

Did away with mine years ago plugged the bottle and the head it only runs coolant through the throttle body. have had no problems.
