Looks about normal. Put some heat tape on the side of it.

i filled mine up to the upper curved part of the bottle. just below the filler neck. it's been fine since.

Think that is low When the hood is on there is a flat spot on top half of tank you can see looking at it from top beside the cap. I believe that is the full mark or in your picture view just up to above the seam in the tank

Found a pic of mine. Notice the heat damage from the turbo.
