Just got back from Cooke City, had a great weekend of powder turns and faceshots. We rolled into town right after the storm on saterday morning. Only a few other groups in town but didn't see much of anyone while riding. Still not enough snow to highmark or hillclimb shoots too much but plenty of great boondocking.

Ski-Dooin' it I go to school in bozeman at MSU as do the other guys that I went to cooke with. There are a few of us that ride out here and try to get out as much as possible to ride. If your interested in meeting up and doin some riding just let me know when your comin out and we'll make it happen.
GlennRMK, in the trees and lower areas there is tons of snow and no need to worry about hitting rocks or anything as long as you keep a sharp eye. Some areas are a bit windblown and you have to watch out for rocks there. Isn't much of a base but snow is deep enough to make up for it. Hopefully this snow will settle and make a for a good base this season. Keep doin your snow dances!

good to seem some bozeman boys out riding....Great pics! i cant wait to get down to Cooke. I am at msu as well looking for more riding partners. havent been able to pick up my new sled yet because of school but it will hopefull happen this weekend just in time for break. I am always down to ride, we need to meet up!

mtn_rider hurry up and get your new ride and break it in and lets go! The crew that I ride with is about 3-5 guys and we are always looking for more people to ride. We are going to try to plan a ride every weekend, either cooke, carrot basin, buck creek, the bridgers or Island park. The more the better and the cheaper the gas and hotel rooms! Let me know when you get your new sled and are ready to go.

me and another guy from butte will be coming and riding buck or the bridgers about every other weekend when christmas break gets over I will have a chevy with a flatbed, so i can bring another sled down to ride if need be. Im all about sharing rides, gas may be cheap right now, but it still aint free.

Hey guys, I stumbled across this thread today and was glad to see some Bozeman area riders on here. I go to school at MSU and I'm always looking for someone to go out riding with. I've only ridden in a couple different areas around Bozeman as last year was my first season of bringing my sled with me back to school. I'll be bringing my sled back with me from home after Christmas break and I'd love to go out riding with any of you guys anytime January-on. I'm not a pro rider, but I should be able to keep up. Let me know if any of you guys want another riding partner, I'd appreciate it greatly!!!
