Cooke City, or Togwotee?

As the title states... this time of year where would you go. Cooke City, or Togwotee? Which is better riding...

Both have great snow. Togwotee has more meadows and open areas to play in... Cooke City... you better like going up and down unless you plan on heading to Top of the World.

Can go wrong with either one.

I can't say one is better than the other really. If it's not crowded and they have snow, both are great. If not, anywhere can suck. Chase the snow. $.02

Cooke is a lot of fun, there is definately a lot more techincal nasty creeks and trees then guys give it credit. The reality is though it is a fairly small riding zone for how popular it is so it can get hammered out quickly. I really enjoy it as an early and later season since it is so isolated it tends to have the longest season of anywhere around.

Where does everyone stay in Cooke City? Is it the Super 8 or are there other "better" options?

Cooke for me one of my favorite spots in the states has little bit of everything. Stayed at the super 8 usually get a discount if you mention the fourm. Sheep basin is our goal to spot not many venture back there but mind the snow a lot of the valley has trap zones but if the conditions allow it's a hard spot to beat.

Cooke has The Bakery. My first 3 years there I was like wow this place is small! Then I figured out how to get in the bush and I'm like "holy cows how do people miss all this stuff"?
