Converting back to Summer

Anyone leave the thermostat and heated bars on year round? I’m fairly certain I can shut them off to where they won’t heat, at least it seemed like it in the winter... any issues with bike getting hot with the extra restrictions from the thermostat? That would make conversion a lot easier.

Ran my 2014 yz450f all summer with the stat.

No issues.

Nice to see the temp.

I ran 2 bikes year around with a thermobob installed riding the woods. Havn't tried heated bars yet but I plan on it this year. I really like heated grips in the mid seasons so i don't wanna take them off lol

Thanks all. Going to give it a whirl today. Have a feeling I’m going to overheat before my bike. At 6am it’s the 60 degrees that feels like 80... when it’s 80+ later on the track I’m going to wish I was still on the snow.
