Hi, I just bought an enclosed trailer. with lights ,furnace, radio, fuel tank ,loading lights. How do I convert it so it run on either battery, truck or shore power. What do I need to convert it to shore power. parts etc. and can it be done with out tearing the trailer apart.

you just need a power converter like they have in RVs. look online for rv parts or go talk to a dealer they will get you set up

dunno if your set up yet but heres how i set up my trailer. went to ele supply house not depo ! ordered a water flip door cover / shore plug, then i got 2 deep cycle interstate batterys, a 1000 wat converter, and a wizzard smart charger w/ fan cooler. drilled a 2 inch hole after i built a cabinet for the batterys and stuff like tv and stereo, bla bla bla. after installing the out side plug directly into a 4 plug metal box now you have 120 into the trailer biggy the batterys together with stuff from shucks, get a wizzard smart charger . it will run everything. the things i run ff the converter is a flat screen and PS2 everything else is off the batterys and the charger. i do carry a 1000w generator if in out a long time or overnight but ive never had battery problems if im just out for the weekend even the furnace runs fine. never hurts to run the gen if your in bad weather watchin dvd's and playn ps2.good luck !

I picked up a power inverter from an RV repair shop. Was from a wrecked RV. Now I just need the time to mount it and wire everything together. It also a a battery charger built in. Thanks for the help
