Convert AC to DC power on sled

I have 2007 Ho IQ Cleanfire with no electric start and would like to run my GPS off the power from the sled. I was wondering if there is any possible way of converting the AC power to 12 volt DC power without installing a battery. If so can someone please explain how and which wires (colors) I should use. Any help would be very much appreciated.

12V Power

There are two access points in the IQ wiring harness that you can use to get 12 VDC (it is actually around 13.5-14V, similar to a car with the engine running).

One is near the hood hinge; it should be a rectangular white connector with three pins, but only two are used.

The second is near the steering column just under the dash. Mine was tucked up and taped to the harness. It is a black male/female connector, similar to the flat four pin trailer connectors except with only two connections.

Both connectors tap into the same points on the wiring harness, so either one is ok to use.
