Can anyone riding there the last couple of days tell me if they got much new snow or what conditions are. Maybe out this week to blow some cash and ride sleds.
Thanks!

No new in over a week. Conditions vary from meadow to meadow. Sun exposed or no sun but subject to cold winds. You can be crusing along on a nice base and then the bottom falls out and you are in sugar snow. It's a very strange year up there. Not to mention we are about 150" below average on the snowfall.

Keep an eye on the weather. Right now, not looking so good but things can change.

No kidding. I was carving down a hill today, not very deep, then I hit a convex roll and my ski punched down 2 feet. Came off the roll and the base was back. Different area, but it sounds like the whole state has similar snow right now. At least there is enough to get out now and not have to be utterly paranoid about land mines (still have to watch out though!). In my area, the base is now here, just need some new snow on top of it now. Of course, then it might all just start sliding again:shocked: saw some freaky big debris piles today.
