Conditions in the Bear Lake Area

Does anybody know the conditions in the Bear Lake Area? We have our trip planned for 2-17 till 2-21. Hoping there is some good snow!! Anybody have some good tips of where to ride???

If you head up the canyon in Paris and head back to Franklin Basin you should be good. There's not as much snow this year as years past, but it's still fun.

Green Canyon just S. of St. Charles canyon should be good and take you right to Franklin Basin as well. I have been broke down for 4 weeks but I hear the riding is good up high. Avy danger is high here though so watch out when you come.

paris canyon

is there still snow at the parking lot up Paris, or do you have to dirt ride after you unload?

The best place to unload now is on top of the pass at the emigrant lot.

Took my wife and grand daughter up there today . Parking lot almost dry . But trail was great and there is still plenty of snow to get off and play . I plaid all over in some good powder and there is still alot of untouched places to ride . I will be going up there again sometime during the week with the guys to hit it hard .

went up on the 20th. Didint have to ride the trail at all just shot from the parking lot into the trees. There were tons of places that no one has gone with deep snow. Wouldnt really call it powder cause of how heavy it is but it was a good day. I have helmet cam vids of it but I cant figure out how to edit them to get the boring stuff out

We had our fun run up between Paris and Bloomington, if you get in the trees that face North we found some good snow, anywhere else sucked but in the trees we still found some good snow

Home Canyon Ride

Went riding up Home Canyon in Bear Lake area and had about 3" of new snow... riding was good.

Had 6 to 10 inches of powder last Saturday up Paris Canyon. We've had more snow the last two days, should be good this weekend.
