So some one got on my labtop and made it so that you can only pres a key once and it wont work the 2nd pres until you pres another key, major pain since double consants like b b or s s you cant do unles you pres a nother key, cant figure out how to fix it , any sugestions?

hehe, sticky keys. That's a ... blah, what's it called... "Easy Access" on System 7/8/9....

Control panels, accessibility options on winxp. Make sure sticky keys, filter keys, toggle keys, are all unchecked.

Also, don't let other people use your computer... that helps a lot :D

I set a hot-corner for the screensaver on my laptop, mouse goes into that corner and screensaver kicks in whenever i'm not at the keyboard.

Same thing at work, windows-L will lock the terminal, ctrl-alt-del and password to get back in.

Hey thanks mule! I know I usually don't roomates hard drive crashed and won't be here till tues. I was expecting it since he leaves his up and I have messed with him a few times.

heh, a favorite at work is to take a screenshot, set it as the desktop background, then "show desktop".

:D

I like to take a screenshot, save it as a .jpeg, flip it 180 degrees(upside down), set as desktop background, Ctrl + Alt and down on the keyboard(flip screen), then uncheck show desktop items and hide the taskbar.

Even someone fairly computer literate will go nuts trying to figure that one out. We did that to a girl in our class in college right before we all went home on a Friday. She never noticed it until she got home, had it like that the whole weekend, we had to show her how to fix it. LOL

Done that before, except there's an option for the video cards we have here to rotate the display in 90* increments. So you can flip it upside-down and everything still works... :D

Our computers can be turned in 90* increments too. What do you mean by the part in bold?
