In the past when i moved to a new computer ive got software that uses a usb cord to transfer from computer to computer. T
The other night my dell laptop finally gave out.. Itll start up and run but i get nothing on the screen and making my usb transfer setup useless..
Id been looking at new laptops anyways and yesterday i picked up a gateway m6834, seems pretty nice hope its as good as my gateway desktop i had about 6-8 yrs ago...
Anyways what are my options for getting my stuff off my dell? Im planning on dropping it off at a local place tomorrow for them just to look it over and at the outside chance its cheap and simple fix. However the last time it acted like it had been recently it ended up being a bad ram stick or something and cost me bout 200 bucks if i remember..Not really wanting to dump that much into it now...
Ideas?
