Squish

My 700 trip has .064 squish and run on straight AV gas.If your gonna run high compression dont try to run on the edge with pump gas be preparred to do a little mixin.:beer;

Haven't done any experiements with my 809 base but I have .065 with .060 btdc timing and run pump at 4500-10,000. runs fine but there is more in the engine. Just haven't tuned on it yet.

Altitude
timing
porting will all come into the mix when your talking squish and compression.

I would stay above .065 for pump gas if your above 4,500 feet msl. Can't remember what jaws and crank shopt told me to run but it was close to what I already had in my engine.
