compressed air and flying on a plane??

will airlines, such as Delta except compressed air cyclinders full on a plane?? will they allow you to carry a non-filled tank? and then have air added to it once I get to togwotee? any help with this would be great??

I fly with BCA canisters all the time. TSA wants the head off the canister so they can look inside. Once I get to my location, I have it filled at a scuba shop, paintball shop or official BCA refill station.

No compressed cylinders of any kind accepted. Dismantled tanks are OK.
