Well, the time has come to part my sled. I was going to trade it complete for a 4x4 Chevy 1500 today but to tell the truth I think the sled is worth more so I want to part it and buy the truck with cash. If I do part it I am not going to start until the engine is sold... So here are the details...
1999 XC700 Bottom End
Cases have been touched up
Oil Pump has lines to the reed boots ('98s didn't have this)
Complete '98 220 Jugged Top End (Head is '98 as well)
Vforce Delta II Reeds
SLP Boost Bottle
HTG Twin Pipes w/ 2 in 1 out can (Pipes where they meet flanges have been rewelded, seals great still)
Complete w/ everything from pull cord to primary, Carbs to Can $1000 plus actual shipping! Yes, PIPES INCLUDED! I know someone out there must want a well running engine package that just beat a Rev 800 a couple days ago in my Gen II chassis and thats no lie. I will even through in the cdi box, air box, secondary and anything else to make this thing run that you would need off the sled as long as you pay the actual shipping. I could probably even through in some other odds and ends for free if the buyer needs some other parts, just to help them out. Now you know there has to be a catch to such a great deal and there is. Actually two. One is that one carb needs a slide spring and the slide adjust screw since the knob broke off. I made a spring I had work for now and just the handle part of the screw broke and it is set right. I am just mentioning this stuff because if it were me I would buy the parts needed and I tryed to once as you can see in my past wanted ad here. Second catch, it needs to be sold FAST otherwise I will end up trading the whole sled for the truck so I dont miss out on this deal. It could be gone tommorow. I can almost guarantee this engine would not disappoint a person on this board in their Gen II or anything for that matter. It keeps up with the best of them. The engine is still in the chassis(pictured in my avatar)running so if you are local and want to come see it you are welcome to and you can even ride it if there is snow. Any questions, please ask.
