Comp turbo?

I know these were all the rave last year this time but I dont know if anyone ended up running one.

if so whats the verdict?

I would like to hear any feed back, good or bad
 
We sold alot of comp turbo's last year. They all ran perfect. some of the customers that changed to them. Those customers felt they were a bit better than the garret as far as bottom end spool up. We had our own size wheels cut for the compressor side. So i feel that is why.

They do take about 5 miles to get broke in. They are also longer than the garrett. We give the customer the option of what turbo they want. the comp adds $500 to the kit and then tial housing and waste gate add more.

I like the comp ct4 turbo better than the garrett,got it on my apex. But the precision turbo is better.
 
brycter, what size turbo were you running? I am considering doing one of these on an etec? any feed back?
 
We have our own sized wheel for the 800's and 1200's .

We have sized it right between a 2863 and 2871. that way it fits about every application.

They take about 4- 5 miles to get them broke in. No boost until then.
must have good water flow to them.

after being broke in. They have been working very good. their compressor mapping is alot different. Bigger center sections and ported exhaust housings.

we are not going to send them out in every kit. But will put them in when some one wants one.
