comp track vs 5.1

Comp track is around 10 lbs more...garbage unless you're on hardpack.

I have the 155" comp track on my turbo D8 and it rocks. Yes on the bottomless days in colorado it does trench a bit more but for 85% of the time it totally kills my 5.1. I had to ask myself, if I ride 100 days a year, starting in mid oct and riding until maybe june, how many of those days are bottomless. 10-15 of them IMO. Maybe 20 on the high side. Thus most of the time I love my track. This is what made me chose the 155" comp track.

Comp track is cool but most people that I know rip so many lugs off that they get the comp replaced under warranty with the 5.1

That's impressive if they can get a comp track replaced under warranty... I think the comp track is a blast. I had one on my 146 and I'll be looking for a take-off for my 155 I have coming in the fall... That way I'll have both tracks that I can swap between...

Yeah I guess it's all about how many miles were on the track when lugs started delaminating and how hard your dealer is willing to fight for you.

I heard of guys on the east coast delaminating the comp because they were riding them across lakes and trail riding them fast so I figured it was due to heat or speed. Do the break lugs on rocks and stumps really easily because they are so rigid?

1200 miles on my assault track. No broken lugs no tears. Track is in better shape then my 5.1 with 950 miles missing 2 lugs ,torn off and several others with tears starting.
