CSG CREW...So your taking pre-orders on a product you won't show us pictures of now? How bout a price? How bout a ship date? When you have that information why don't you start your own thread instead of just chiming in on this guys about the skid plate they developed, have pictures of, a price for, and can ship today. ? Your posting all over the forums about a new skid plate so start your own thread. Till its actually for sale, let Wang have his own thread.
Have some manners.
Kooter- By no means am I trying steal anyone's thread, seeing as this is a similair product as to what we have developed I figured this would be the best place to promote ours as well. Case in point the Tri-city plate has been brought up in this thread as well, it is logical to discuss a skid plate on a thread called "New skid plate for Belt Drive".. As we have posted our own threads on every other forum but Snowest..
As for pictures you must understand what we have developed is not a peice of metal and is not anywhere near as easy to make as Rexburg's or Tri-City's.. The Combat Sled Gear Armor Plate is injected plastic just as the Polaris factory skid plate. As mentioned we just received our very first final mold..
This is a time consuming process as it requires a full plastic shop with a large enough modling machine to accomdate the dimensions of our plate, in our case the closest plastic molding shop that can facilitate our plate is 2 hrs away, then It is a complete week turnaround per mold from the plastic manufacturer. The shop itself needed; a 2011, 2012, & 2013 Pro RMK for 3D molding, computer generated sculpting, then the actual molding process to the sled which requires for each sled to be upside down for 12hrs individually just to cure, then actual and mass production of the Armor Plate. We all currently have other jobs so we do this every spare minute outside of our current jobs.
With all this into consideration Kooter it all factors into cost, we are striving to produce our products as afforable as possible for our customers. As we are a brand new company we must do things cost efficient.
Shipping - We have taken pre orders already with detailed specs and instructions so that we can provide everyone with their desired plate colors and options once our Armor plates are ready for market which WILL BE MID NOVEMBER to make purchasing as easy as possible for our customers. As of this morning we have recieved a total 23 pre-orders to re-assure anyone who has doubts.
We have not released ANY pictures because it has been a computer 3D graphic until yesterday, simply read the building process of our plate and you should now understand why. Second, It is a week turn around from the plastic manufacturer per mold as mentioned above. Furthermore we have not been graced with any true snow yet to test our product as we refuse to release something we personally have not tested, thats not quality assurance.
As i continue to say, I am more than happy to answer any and all question in regards to our product simply PM me.. Hope this helps Kooter.
