Colorado used sled prices

Has anyone compared the Colorado used sled market with other areas? I'm looking to get a "new" used sled or two but local prices seem high. When I look at KSL (Utah classifieds) you can find decent 2005-07 M7s, RMKs, and REVs for $3,500. Equivalent sleds are listed for easily $1,000 more in Colorado. The problem is the cost of getting a sled from Utah would end up negating some of the savings on the lower price.

I just bought a 2008 Supercharged Nytro with 1k miles on it for $7500.00 in Twin Falls Idaho. Worth the cost of getting it here at that price

Prices in Utah always seem to be cheaper for all motorized items. I look at KSL weekly, and there is always a deal.

Factor in 18 hours of driving, what your time is worth, and gas, and it would have to be $1,000 or more cheaper to really make sense.

Check sledfinds.com best sight I have found, they list used sled across the nation that are currently on all craigslist's/ebay. Should give you a good idea of the same sled in 2 different states and the difference in price.

I live in Indiana and have bought sleds in the U.P. of Michigan, Minnesota,
Iowa, Nebraska and Colorado. Utah would seem pretty close to Colorado to me. And yes I agree that used sled prices in Colorado run on the high side.

found the best deal on new sleds in Co., even found sleds as demos best price in CO. best prices on used sleds found in Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota.

I have been looking for a sled for my kid. I have found way better prices in every sledding state except here, in Colorado.

Seems to me that sled sellers in CO are quite proud of their sleds, whether it be new or old. I can't find a fair priced phazer for less than $1000, and even those are beat down, massive mileage and need some TLC. I have found several in other states for considerably less.

your 1 to talk, remember watching your sled roll down that hill!

Hey you coming out this wnter to ride with us?

Ofcourse I am coming out to ride when you guys actually get good snow. I am riding better snow then you guys right now and only driving 30 minutes to do so. Oh and M8VOHKMAN I have no idea what hill your talking about I would never ride my sled in a place I could roll it let alone be the first and only to try pull a hill with a cliff showing all the way across the top. :lie:
