Seems like it really flattened out the sidehill shot a lot, but the jump really turned out great!! Very cool stuff!!!
I wondered about that... there seemed to be a lot of track drop, so i assumed it was much steeper than it looked, but tree angle didn't really confirm that. Odd shot.
And yeah... it would be amazing for river shots... I've seen a couple from a playboating competition, and the water going by really makes for a cool visual.
I've put the 7d on a boom with the 10mm lens on it & the video from that is pretty unreal... I can't imagine being able to move it 3 dimensionally like that can. Really opens up a lot of options man, really cool setup.
Those quad copters have been around now for a while. Has the price come down on them? they used to be pretty expensive. I used to have a neighbor with a in gound pool and they frequently were worthy of a quad copter

Super cool. I wanted to try one of those heli's with the camera integrated. Did you attach a camera or use one with the built in?
