Colorado Dealership

Guys,

I'm looking at the possibility of snow-checking a 2013 Pro. With that being said, what do you recommend for a dealer in Colorado? I just moved here and am not familiar with any of the dealerships. I don't mind driving farther or paying more knowing I will get great support from the dealership.

Thanks

If you live in the front range you can get one in Cheyenne, or Vickeries in Denver.

Yes, I do live in the front range. Like I said, traveling does not matter as long as they are a good dealer. Are these two a good dealer or just want to take your money?

i bought my sled from alpine in kremtuckey and my buddy bought his from vickery in denver.mine was a 155 his was a 163. both 2012, both cash deals. i paid $400 more than he did but i got the clutch done at no cost. not sure who got the better deal but i like both shops...... some more than others depending on the day and the attitude:face-icon-small-win

Alpine Motor Sports in Kremmling is a great dealership. Arguably the most knowledgable and the most experience, especially if you have any interest in the aftermarket. VOHK is the mod shop of Alpine Motor Sports. They will be happy to take care of you whether you only want to purchase a sled from them, or build a full on mod and everything in between. www.vohk.com

I didnt have a good experience with Eric. Seemed their priorities was only with the folk who wanted to spend alot of coin on aftermarket. I wasnt spending enough with my "stock" sled to be worthy of their time. But everyone else I hear from says they're good. I bought my sled through Craig Powersports. Kevin and Frank treated me very well. I snowchecked a 2012 with skid plate, riser, tunnel re-inforcement, and cover for 12,100 out the door. That was a great price to me as my local dealer here wanted 12,500 for the sled alone "before tax". As far as maintence goes I havent had any except for the phone call a couple weeks back asking me to bring my sled in for a recall. So we'll see how the turn around is Friday. Good luck on the search man. Nothing like getting bent over and thrown out the door at a dealer. Great choice of sled :face-icon-small-win ...if you get one

Had similar experience!

I've heard both good and bad about alpine motorsports. Never heard anything about vickeries. Rmx is probalbly the best place for aftermarket stuff in the front range. I have never had a problem with Cheyenne and have always felt that they appreciated my bussiness.

PLEASE talk to Woody up at Spirit Lake Polaris if you are interested in purchasing a 2013!!

He is the most genuine guy in the industry and will talk to you for as long as you want about sleds and will even take ya out riding if you want!

They get all my service business and I know of 5 people that purchased 2012's from them this past snowcheck season:)

From everything I have heard Alpine is were to go, I live in WI and considering buying a PRO, I ride mainly in CO and probably going to snocheck a 2013 from them. I talked with them on the phone just the other day and they were as helpful as my Yamaha dealer back in WI.

Also have had similar experience with Alpine.

Another nod for Woody and Spirit Lake Polaris in Grand Lake.

Bought a 10 from GForce powersports and was fair on price BUT I added the extra year of motor coverage and found out later they took money but didnt initiate the coverage. Took some doing but they fixed it. Accident or not??? you decided.

I'm currently in the same boat - bought the extra 3 years of coverage and I havn't gotten any papers on it

I do NOT recommend Gforce.

They wouldn't recognize any of the polaris rebates..... Also wouldn't even install my skid plate or tether that I bought from them for free when I got the sled.

Also took it in for the 150 mile check up... It went in fine, came out with the track so loose that it was ratcheting, brakes now grind like crazy, and the factory kill switch no longer works

What was done to the clutch?

I bought from Jed in Cheyenne (just across the Wyo state line). Good group of guys and easy to work with. Best price too. Who wants to deal with attitude when you are dropping $12k?

I highly recommend Frontier Cycles in Laramie. Dave is the sales mgr and is as genuine as they come. Great service, honest answers, and always seem to stock what you need. My '12 PRO has run flawlessly, as well as the 2 '11's of my riding buds. They earned my business when I had a '10 Assault that I didn't purchase from them. They bent over backwards to get my repairs warrantied.

alpine motorsports

Several of my riding partners have purchased sleds from Eric and I can tell you none of us would buy any thing from Eric. He is an arogant bastard. I called the shop one time his wife forget to put me on hold and I heard Eric cuss and use my name in vain and then gets on the phine and tells me the problem is I don't know how to ride. Buy from Jed in cheyenne and you will get treated with respect.
