All,

My brother and I are making our first BC sled trip. We are leaving Friday after work and hope to be there late Saturday. We have a truck camper and will go wherever we can find fresh snow or people to ride with.

Any groups or rides we can ride with?

Any suggestions or things to know?

What clutch weights and altitudes should our sleds be setup for? We both have Pro RMKs.

Thanks,
Mark

Sorry. My bad. BC is big!!!

We hope to make south BC by Saturday night and be riding by Sunday. Where we ride first is still TBD. Revelstoke is what we hear about in Colorado and would like to ride there at least one day. But we are also game for anything between Fernie, Castlegar, Kamloops, Revelstoke and Golden.

Our favorite kind of riding is boondocking and seeing new places. We aren't hill climbers but have avalanche gear just in case.

I've been looking at www.abcsnow.com and www.bcsf.org. The clubs in Revelstoke, Sicamous, Enderby and Falkland had some good information on their websites.

Thanks,
Mark

Hope you guys arrived safe and enjoy holidays, must be single guys to be gone for Xmas. By now you should have discovered B.C. snow, you guys need to ride Fernie, the best tree riding, and they have been shovling 24/7 in the town for months. Sicamous is famous for very good weather, and very few riders, Revelstroke always has the snow but thousands of riders tracked out completely in a day. Unbeleiveable start to the season anywhere you chose you will be riding in chest deep powder. Ride safe.
