code red performance/ boondocker/ pfr turbo dragon build

here are some pictures of the d8 turbo myself and performance fix racing of bozeman mt built this winter. thanks to code red performance and boondocker this thing was a breeze to build. the kit that justin barns at code red performance puts together is 100 percent plug and play. he takes all the head ache of trial and error out of the tuning and clutching. his kit came with helix, primary spring, weights and egt. we seriously built this thing ran it in the field for one lap to make sure everything was working(which it was) than took it out to ride. i have not had to touch the mapping or the clutching since. i now have 250 miles on this sled and have had zero issues. if you need a hand building your turbo, or just need to rebuild your shocks, and are in the bozeman area call jt at performance fix racing he is the most helpful mechanic that i have ever worked with. his number is (406) 587-7223. he is best known for his shocks but he can do it all. if your looking to buy a 100 percent complete turbo kit (true plug and play) call justin at code red. his number is (406) 580 2277. anyway let me know what you think of the sled pictures :)

Load the pics on something like photobucket... and then bring them in, it is much easier.

looks sweet. 155? Holz rear end? who did the powder coating? any bog up high? Thanks for the heads up on your Bozeman guy!

The headlight delete, is it a mesh vent, or just a plastic cover? Also, would you post a few turbo setup pics?

It is Mountain Fit Delete, he makes them in vented mesh or solid like you see, also they can be trimmed down to just be covers with velcro...

Thats what I thought. I have one of his on mine as well. Had to cut out the inner layer of prefilter mesh, to get more flow over my intercooler.

powder coat

revalation industries in bozeman montana (behind walmart on oak st) did the powder coating. they do some really sweet candy colors (looks a lot like anodize) thats the red you see on all my aluminum parts ( looks awesome in the sun) they also do textures, pearls, and metallic flake. don't expect to get your stuff back quickly but worth they wait. also the rear skid is a stock 155. i just took it all apart and had everything powder coated. never had any high bog. justin and code red suggested i leave the stock 2009 flash and pistons in the sled and just get the updated head (because its a lower compression head, and i can run a pound more boost) it runs awesome. the guy knows his turbos, i have even texted him from up on the hill with questions. he always gets right back to me.

Awesome.... get a snowflap on that beast.... I dont know how you are keeping the temps down.
