code 84 on nytro. Help on trip

Have a nytro giving me a code 84 every now and then, sometimes at VERY bad times. Is this the tors code and how do I fix it? Can I disconnect it? This is on a powderlite turbo. If that matters.

On a trip in Wyoming and would appreciate any help.

my code 84 only came up once and that was because i tryed driving nytro before red light went off. and yes it is tors. not sure how to unhook it. i know you can though.

It is your TORS This can mean that your throttle cable is in some kind of bind. Check out the cable first and see if you have some kind of kink in the cable. At last resort you can disconnect it. under the hood you will see a big black rubber cover wrapped around a bunch of your wires, slip that up and expose the wires. Look for a single BLACK and a single WHITE wire. Disconnect them. I believe the white goes to the black and vice versa. Connect them to themselfs... That will get rid of the code.. Is your sled acting up?? Where are you in Wyoming?

I can't say for sure about the bare wire but sled only has 400 miles on it so I hope I don't have that kind of problem already. I had it do this to me once in the first day or two when I first got it going a month or so ago. I have put a powermad 10 inch extension on it and now am getting the error more often. When it does it I have no throttle, I stop for a minute with it idling, wait for the code to go away and all is well for quite a while. No real reason for why it does it, sometimes just driving down the trail.

We are at Dubois, at staying at The Sawmill.

Yup your cable is being stretched by the extension.. Disconnect the tors like I said earlier and the problem will be solved! I just went thru the exact same thing by adding the rox risers to my sled. Then when you get home you can get a longer cable and reconnect the tors. Have fun at the Sawmill, Great people there.
