Knew to the turbo. What a RUSH! My 08 turbo apex is showing code 84. I searched it and they say it is TORS. What is TORS can someone help with this.

It is the THROTTLE OVERRIDE SYSTEM (T.O.R.S.). There is a small micro switch behind the throttle lever that will kill the motor if the throttle does not return when let off.
The best thing to do is install a tether and bypass the TORS.

your throttle cable is to tight its there to save a sled if you throttle freezes so if you have the cable to tight it will think its frozen & limit your rpm.

there is another reason this goes off. If you are going wide open and dump the throttle you can cause this as the boost holds the throttle bodies open a bit. it will make you sit and idle for 30 seconds then you can go again. You learn not to dump the throttle back to idle like a two stroke. It also helps with response time if you only come back to half or quarter. happy boosting julio

You shouldn't be having that trouble on an Apex?

if you have the cheap blow off valve boondocker sends out with the kit you will, or if your valve is not set correct. julio
