Code 81 ? Nytro mtx

Trouble with the key switch. Wiggle the connection to get pwer to the gauge's, and then when you turn the key to start the sled, the power to the gauge's quits. We were in some very deep powder so i think there is just some moisture in the connection, but the engine light came on and i don't know if this is related.
Any help would be appreciated.

Code 81 I believe is the Handwarmers.. I'll have to chack my service manual to confirm..

grip warmer code. you have a short in the hand grip warmer. either in the element itself (more than likely), or the wiring is chafed. sometimes the grips being held tightly spin alittle while riding causing the element wrap to fail, grounding the wires in the heater. ski
