Went riding today and my friends 13 pro would just lose power and then got to point where it won't even engage clutch. Anyways after towing him out we r looking up code and it says tps or throttle cable would be problem. Not sure where to go from here. Any help would be great. Thanks

TPS sensor.

It won't let you throttle up.

I'm not a shop tech, but it's probably not just an adjustment. Likely needs replaced.

would it rev up to like just before the clutch would engage and stay revd up? Could also be the sensor that shuts the sled down if it things the throttle is stuck open had a buddies do that on the mountain last year.

Is there excessive throttle slack? The throttle protection switch would prevent your clutch from engaging but it wouldn't code for that...I dunno I could be wrong

start at the throttle cable. Mine was loose by the throttle body. Tightened the nut more and problem solved. Easiest and free place to start.

if that switch is engaged it will throw a code i dont remember what it is, but that how we figured it out on the mountain lucky enough to have cell service looked the code up. Still had to tow it out, what had happend was that he had after market bars and risers and it moved and he has his wires tight and it broke one of the two wires that went to the sensor.
