COBE footwell block off plate

Just wanted to pass along a product review for everyone. I took my pro up to Steamboat CO yesterday, and was greeted by over 3' of the lightest blower snow you could find (unfortunately, it was still snowing sideways, and visibility was nonexistent). I have installed a COBE clutch side, footwell block off plate, as in snow like this, I was experiencing clutch slippage issues. Previously, I was able to see a fair amount of snow sitting in the belly pan underneath the clutches when I stopped. Yesterday, however, I had zero clutch slippage, and zero snow under the clutches. This is definitely a product worth adding to your Pro. At $180 per belt (I had already lost one), I don't see why you wouldn't!

just saw you were up here in steamboat yesterday, I'll say this. Today was the deepest days of the year, 3.5 feet. too deep to ride actually, its kind of annoying. Race gas turbo would be ok up buff today but nothing else worked.
its still snowing like hell, i am going out to plow for the third time today and its not stopping till tomorrow afternoon. thursday/ friday will be the best days of snow in the country. I have not seen snow like this my entire life living in steamboat 31yrs. its so light its scarry.

how much is it? pics? link? i think every pro needs something to block that off. one of the few really stupid engineering designs on the sled. thanks

I do not have any links or specifics on price, I was sent the item to test and report on. It is made by COBE, which is associated with Fastrax Motorsports, and I would imagine will be available on their website. Hopefully John (racerjb), can add some further info.

It's funny how I ride the same blower pow at rabbit ears, spring creek, Buff and every where else in CO and have never had a problem with my belt slipping! Guess my sled wasn't built on a Friday.
