Coalmont Snow Conditions

We had a small amount of snow in Coalmont yesterday.... Today some hunters arrived via the Coquihalla Lakes - Tulameen FSR and they reported about 4" of snow at the summit.... They then went up to Lodestone and found about a foot of powder.... The lake was frozen solid enough to stand on it and the temperature mid-afternoon was about -5*C....

We've had a small amount of snow the past couple of days and there is about an inch on the ground in town.... Air temp. mid-afternoon was about -7*C....

About 6" of snow on the ground in Coalmont now and more expected today.... Temp is -5*C....

At least 6" of snow fell overnight.... and there is nearly a foot on the ground....

One of our neighbours went up to Lodestone yesterday.... He reported that there was two feet of soft powder and it's easy to get stuck!

We have had about 4" of new snow in the past 24 hours and there is now about 14-15" on the ground in Coalmont.... It is currently -2*C in town.... We have only had about 2-3 days where the temperature went above freezing since November....

About 8" of new snow since last evening and still snowing.... The temperature is -2*C and there is about 19-20" of snow on the ground in Coalmont....

After a couple of weeks of mild weather which has formed a firm base in the mountains and completely cleared the Coalmont Road of snow.... we have had about 6" of new snow in the past 24 hours in town.... and nearly a foot at Lodestone Lake according to one of our guests.... It looks like they have perfect conditions for the Poker Run this weekend....

Over the past two days, we have had about 7-8" of new snow in Coalmont.... There is currently about 17" on the ground in town.... The last snowfall of similar size deposited about a foot of new snow up in the mountains.... so I would expect snowmobile conditions would be excellent....

8" of new snow in Coalmont and 22" now on the ground in our yard.... Temperature right at freezing.... Lots of snowmobiles in town now....
