Bingo! The Secret Service had no qualms with the guns being openly and legally carried. If they did, they would have changed security, expanded perimeter zones etc.

I really doubt they were scared of him but I would be willing to bet 2-3 snipers followed him the entire time.


It is legal to carry in open (in open carry states) but if you carrying your weapon around causes a disturbance you can be arrested for disturbing the peace.
