CNG powered Turbo

Wondering if anyone has thought about using the same idea as BS's LP turboed Apex but using CNG instead. Buy or build a home filling station (scuba compressor) and you could fill up at home and you'd be burning US and Canadian made fuel instead of gas shipped from the devil henchmen!

Wondering if anyone has thought about using the same idea as BS's LP turboed Apex but using CNG instead. Buy or build a home filling station (scuba compressor) and you could fill up at home and you'd be burning US and Canadian made fuel instead of gas shipped from the devil henchmen!

You would need a much larger tank to store a comparable volume to propane. Natural gas must be stored at much higher pressure,
therefore a thicker/heavier tank would be needed as well. Propane liquifies at -43.6 F, natural gas liquifies at -260 F.
