CMP clutch puller 600 pro rmk - right one?

That looks like the right one clutch is same as 800 I picked mine up at dealer and that looks the same polaris has had same puller for ever, also when you go to pull it try the hydro method clutch will pop right off.

Hands down best clutch puller I've used... I bought it this year.

The "No Wrench Clutch puller" from

http://www.perksbalance.com/products.html

Much more gentle on the crank... and easy to pull even difficult clutches...

I dont use the water injection bottle... I just put the sled on its side and shoot the water in with the tip of the bottle.

Easy!!

Cheezy Vid.. I know...but the darn thing works very well.

So i did a little research:

polaris shop manual calls out for a:
"Drive Clutch Puller (3/4"-16x14mm): 2000-Current Domestic Twins/1999-2003 440/FS-FST 1999-2003 700-800 XCR" Part Number 2872085

So pretty much any US twin from 2000-2013 will use a 3/4"-16x14mm puller polaris part number 2872085

Now when you cross reference that part number for a EPI puller it gives you a:
EPI = PCP-8 (2872085/2875567)

From what I can read and determine - CMP (cambridge metals & Plastics) (which is located in cambridge, MN ironically)

CMP puller -
Part #8000-4005 is a 3/4"-16 thread puller
which I think is the right one

Hope this helps someone in the future, tomorrow I am going to email CMP to verify that this 8000-4005 is the correct puller for 2000-Current Domestic Twin polaris puller or at least verify it is a 3/4"-16x14mm puller

FYI - the manual specifically says in BOLD, DO NOT USE AN IMPACT WRENCH TO REMOVE OR INSTALL THE CLUTCH BOLT OR PULLER. DAMAGE TO THE CLUTCH AND/OR CRANKSHAFT CAN OCCUR.

Yes, please post your findings when you hear back from CMP.

Thanks,

Got a confirming email from CMP saying that the CMP part # 8000-4005 is the correct one for a 2012 polaris 600 pro rmk

I also advised them to update their fitment chart to reflect this because they are probably losing business because of this.

There you go, no you know
