cluthing or is it a gearing problem

have a gen II 800 motor done by fasttrax motorsports cpi pipes running 66g weights with a almond red spring in primary and a 52-36 helix with a silver and blue spring. 19-40 gears. the problem is cant get over 73 mph in 500 ft. but it gets there extremely quick. is this a cluthing or a gearing problem..

Your gearing sounds good to me, I always ran a 19/41 set-up, but with your power, you should be fine. Check your clutchs to see if your shifting out all the way.

It is neither. Just add a turbo and you will go faster than 73 mph in 500 ft.!
