I need to check the numbers for the spring weights, but i need to bring my rpms down a shade . Hoping if possible to do this with a primary spring.... is it possible. I have a 719 helix, i think 140-240 secondary spring and a light blue, with yellow stripe slp primary. I have 78 gram belly busters. I am pulling 7350-7400 once i come down from my peak rpm with an 05'. I want to get down near the 7200 mark. Any help would be appreciated.

Primary is an slp 140-310, secondary team 140-240, 78 grm belly busters, 39 -23 gearing, 144x2" track. pulling 7350-7400, will putting in a epi 145-300 primary hurt anything in trying to get my rpms down??

It shouldn't be a big change. Slightly lower running rpm, and a little higher engagement rpm. Sounds like a safe place to try, although going from one brand to another in the change may throw in something unexpected.
Some companies measure their spring rates differently, sorry I don't know them well enough to tell you the difference between SLP and EPI if there is any.
Good luck
Dan

You need a slp blue silver 140-300. that should bring your rpm down 200 rpms
