I got two sets of weights from Carl's, and a different helix. I was thinking maybe just run the 8k-10k weights all the time out west? The other set is 5k-8k, so I'm thinking theres only 1500 feet worth of elevation in that range when it counts in West Yellowstone, so probly just clutch it for higher up right away? I don't know, I'm probly wrong on this, cant remember how high we are in our normal riding spots in West. But I'll need the lighter weights for Cooke for sure. Not sure what I'll do with my primary spring, probly just run it for now and see how everyone else's testing goes

EDIT: also, the 8k-10k weights are the same that you said you will use for 8-12, Matt

I have the 60 wieghts in mine and at 5000 feet would over rev, but at 8000 feet pulled like a beast in deep pow. I'll see if it pulls enough at 10000 feet, but only 90 miles on sled.

after reading Kelsey's post and one of the later posts, I think maybe running the 60G weights all the time might not be the choice? Ohhh I wish I could just ride the damn thing so I could get it set

On the Delrin Washers I run ONE only, Under the spring cup.

SLP recommends 1 ONLY. SLP goes on to say that 3 may cause a problem.

I can see a possible reason for a 2nd one at the opposite end of the spring, but certainly not 3 Delrins.

Just because the Delrins are sold in 3-packs, doesn't mean you have to use them all at once.

If I remember correctly, West is @ 6500' or so and you're right approx 1500' on top of that for around that area.

I am running the Carl's clutch in my pro. So far in the 48 miles I put on it I can say the rpm's are dead on between 8100 and 8200 with a peak of 8250. It doesn't waiver or drop just dead on. Now I wasn't in 4 feet of fresh riding a pretty tracked out area found one lil secret place we go no tracks in maybe 1.5 feet of fresh and it pulls 8150 on the nose. I thought that was great. I am running the 2 derlins top and bottom of the spring in the secondary and the 58 gram EPI weights. I was riding between 9-12K. The backshift is a little more agressive than what their kit in my dragon had but I was running poo weights in it. It's also a completely different machine. I don't know if primary weight or the profile of the weight can effect backshift or not. I am by no means a clutching expert.
