Is the spring tension on the secondary the same if I run in slots 3 - 0 compaired to 2-1?

Its a cat green presently runnung 2-0 going to stiffin it up some.The belt is going to far into the secondary. Also have tryed purple EPI.

There isnt a 2-1 setting. The clutch sheeve is 1,2,3 and the helix is 0,3,6,9

No haven't had the clutch apart since last year so forgotten the numbers. Just wanted to insure this was correct.

Got me with the trick question, lol. I usually only run that spring on 1 and 0. Maybe your spring is getting weak, they take a pounding

Na didn't get ya yet. Spring still seems good. I do lots of tree riding on and off the gas and find that secondary needs to be tight also lose quite a bit of RPM when climbing if there's a bump.
Will post pic of belt and see if you guys are getting the same thing happening.

set your belt height with different shims behind the 3 bolts on the back side of the secondary. yamaha spec is 1.38 to 1.41in at the top of the sheaves. if your not in spec shim accordingly if its right check to see if you have the right belt width.
