clutching question

I have a 11 sba that i put kelseys replacement pistons in! I have the stock 10-66 clutch weights in it. Now that the rotating mass is lighter i'm pulling 8500 + rpm with it, just wondering how heavy of weights i should start with? I'm guessing like 70 ?

I think the general concensus is 1g/100rpm

My stock '13 was reving 8600 with 66 gram weights. I put 68's in an it will only pull 7900. Time to get out the scale and grinder....

So my general concensus may be wrong lol. Maybe 1g/300 rpm is more accurate? I will know with mine soon as I have to add weight since I put in the high compressions domes, have to drop 250 rpm. I run adjustables so it's easy for me though.

Or dalton adjustables, I have never had any issues with them.

Just go with the rooster weights and all your bases will be covered.

X2...... I have the Drop in kit and run the Team rooster weights. There really easy to use and you can change where the weight is distributed which makes tuning the primary a lot easier and most importantly the way you like it.
