i have a golf cart that i put a high hp motor in. it has a primary off of an older yamaha sled. when i hit the gas it will go about 7 mph and hit the rev limiter almost instantly. but when i am going down hill slightly it gets up and GOES!
i drew a line up the clutch with sharpie to see how far up the belt was going. on flat ground it goes up about an inch. when i came down hill it went about 3/4 of an inch from the top.
do i need to put a softer spring, more weight? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
