My 03 MC 900 is running 19-39 gearing from the PO. I am getting a 45 tooth gear and chain soon. My question is Do I HAVE to re-clutch the sled?. how might the sled run leaving the clutching as is?. WHat would be a good clutch set-up for a 900 cat with 19-45 gearing?

You may have to go with some lighter weights. I know it may not sound right but you will probably turn fewer rpm because geared down the load on your secondary clutch will be lighter and it will shift faster. A helix with a lower degree number may also work if you need to bring the r s back up.
