Depending on how much power your actually making/track length ect, will make a difference on where you want to load them. If you can get away with loading them heavy in the heel I would if I could because the weights shift out quicker and feel more responsive. The problem with that scenario is with not enough tip weight (depending on how much power your making/track length) you will slip your belt.

Cliff notes: start with the most weight in the heel. If you start blowing belts add more weight to the tip.

Iam running a 174 track and mostly ride in Cooke and also have a shock wave helix but my 39 is installed right now running a blue white blue spring

Just a sugestion but here is what I would look at:

BWB primary
Cat Green secondary set at 1 0
47 degree helix
with a 174 18 40 gearing or no higher than 19 40 depending on your body weight.
Load your heels then mids then limit the rpms with the tips

This is right. You havve to remember these weights allow you to control your belt pressure all the way thru. If you are overreving at any point that is where the weight is put. Turbo's unlike 2 stroke do not like lots of helix, still you are running far less than what works. go at LEAST to 45 and start from there. Is your track a 3" or 2.5 that will make a big difference. Where the weight is determines how much pressure you are putting on your belt,,too much and heat happens, too little and heat happens WITH slippage BAD BAD BAD I ran the stock secondary machined, with a cat purple spring set at 0/2 with a gr/wht/grn and 68 grams weights belt temp around 140-150. remember the primary controls the rpm's and the secondary controls the shift ..jm..02
